Title: Americas Sales Manager

Location: Northern Virginia

General Job Summary:

The Company, a global leader, in providing high precision cleaning materials for high-tech applications such as high reliability electronics manufacturing into markets such as aerospace, medical, and military, is seeking an Americas Sales Manager to lead consistent sales growth in the Americas from the headquarter office. The Americas Sales Manager will lead a team of remote based Regional Sales Managers and headquarter based Inside Sales and will also support global key account business development.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

> Coach direct reports to develop new business at CMs and OEMs using consultative selling methods.  > Develop direct reports to succeed with balanced constructive feedback and training to enhance skills.

> Build strong relationships with senior decision makers at key USA headquartered global accounts and equipment partners and coordinate with the Company’s Asia and Europe sales colleagues as needed.

> Champion timely and accurate Customer Relationship Management software entry and analysis.

> Evaluate territory manufacturer representatives and distributors and drive performance improvements.

> Lead team to achieve annual sales plan with regular planning, progress reviews, and adjustments.

> Prioritize collaboration with Application Technology Engineering on critical customer technical support.

> Provide suggestions and balanced feedback to Marketing to improve success from campaigns.

> Cooperatively navigate conflicts between customer expectations and Operations capabilities.

> 30-50% travel to support remote direct reports and build external critical relationships.

Knowledge Required:

> Bachelor’s Degree with 8 to 10 years successful B2 technical sales experience of consumable products.

> 5 years directly managing B2B remote technical sales personnel from a multi-department office.

> 5 years preferred selling to electronics and/or semiconductor OEMs and CMs in USA.

> Strong consultative sales training and proven success with formal strategic selling training preferred.

> Familiar with all stages of a complex high-value sell up to including influencing senior decision makers.

> US person status preferred due to ITAR applications.

> Working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Skills and Abilities:

> Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing, speaking, and business math.

> Coaching to penetrate potential accounts and expand network within existing customer accounts.

> Organized and detail oriented to leverage CRM technology to maximize sales funnel and wins.

> Ability to lead all Sales team members and respect constraints on other departments.
