Process Development Engineer – Aerospace Composite Structures

The Role

This role will work directly with the Sr. Engineer in Savannah to develop full project scope, cost estimates and complete statement of work for both materials and processes.  The role will support all new product offerings and provide both the details and strategic presentations for all new RFP bids and proposals for the composite and metallic products fabricated in both North American and Europe.  This role will create detailed work instructions for complex aero-structure parts and components, including material costs, process specifications and capital equipment needs.

To be considered for this role, you must have a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Composite Materials Engineering and at least 2 years of hands-on materials and process engineering experience with metallic or composite aero-structures.  You must have excellent technical writing skills, the ability to create and present presentations to senior management and support the full program capture process.  In addition, you need to have experience with 3D CAD modeling, preferably using CATIA V5.  This role will be based on Savannah and travel about 25% of the time both domestic and internationally.
