    Western US Regional Sales Manager, Composite Materials

    The Overview:

    CEO Inc’s Advanced Composite Group is actively looking for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the Western US Territory in the Composite Industry.  The company has seen impressive year over year growth and is interested in continuing to drive new business development efforts throughout the next several years; both domestic and international.  The company manufactures and delivers unique composite materials for use in the manufacture of parts and components in commercial aerospace industry. The Regional Sales Manager will be an individual contributor responsible for both “hunting” new potential clients and applications as well as maintaining and strengthening current client portfolios in the Western US area.  The company itself is a stable and solid material manufacturer with well-known market and brand recognition.  They have a clear and concise vision and are a market leader in their space.  The company has continued to grow and develop as they have developed into a nearly $300M global solution provider to some of the biggest OEM’s in the commercial aerospace industry.   

    The Role

    The Regional Sales Manager will be primarily accountable for delivering new leads in the industry, introducing, demonstrating and promoting products into the commercial aerospace market.  This role will manage both existing accounts on the West Coast, centralized in Southern California, and develop new relationships and business in the region.  They will be responsible for evaluating and growing the Western marketplace, reporting results to the VP of Global Sales, actively working with direct clients to determine the right material specifications and applications for the intended materials. 

    This role will be an active travel role, centered around California, but stretching beyond at times. Travel outside the region would be limited to clients, trade shows, distributors and is estimated at about 25-30%.  The remaining travel would be in the Southern California area. 

    This role will offer highly competitive salary, plus a bonus and other incentives that ensure market level compensation.  This role will work from the company’s corporate office in LA County, California.  Re-location assistance may be available for the right individual if not within commuting distance to the corporate office [50 Miles or more]

    The Requirements:

    To qualify for this role, a 4-Year Bachelor’s degree is required, with a strong preference to those with an engineering degree.  You must also have at least 5 years of hands-on sales experience of an engineered product/solution in composite materials, parts, engineering services or components into the Commercial Aerospace industry.  This may include resins, adhesives, fabrics, fibers, pre-pregs, core material, structural or non-structural aircraft OEM parts, etc.  The personality type that will be most successful is a self-motivated and self-sufficient business development person that is great at building strong relationships and has a demonstrated track record of territory product growth in the Western US, particularly within the commercial aerospace market.

    The Location:

    This role is in the Greater Los Angeles Metro area; with the office located in LA County.  The location is 20-minutes outside downtown Los Angeles.  LA County offers quick and easy access to all the best LA offers; beaches, harbors, a short drive to the mountains and plenty of cultural attractions.  With easy access form both Orange and Riverside Counties, the corporate office is centrally located in the San Gabriel Valley east of LA.  Quaint neighborhoods, easy access to both the mountains and the beach and a solid school system all make this area a desired re-location destination in Southern California.
