He has had responsibility for multiple plants with locations in the United States, Mexico and Argentina. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. He has managed as many as 250 employees with P&L accountability. In addition to plant management responsibility he led the continuous improvement program. One project alone resulted in increasing capacity by 40% when the company thought they were at full capacity preventing the need for a major capital expenditure.
Today he is working for a company on the East Coast introducing polymers as the prime raw material for their products replacing concrete. He was hired for his lean manufacturing experience and has continued his success by significantly improving the performance in 3 plants. The company now wants him to relocate to their California operations. He prefers not to relocate to the West Coast. His preferred location is the Southeast and Midwest States.

Having supplied automotive, medical and aerospace he has full knowledge of the ISO certification programs along with FDA and GMP protocols. In terms of problem solving he has trained and implemented a 5S philosophy in all his plants. This candidate has a documented history of taking a plant to a higher level of performance.
The candidate is located in Western North Carolina and is willing to relocate anywhere within 150 miles of Charlotte, NC. What is driving his desire for a change is the overall financial condition of the company.
PLANT MANAGER / CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER
The candidate has an MBA (2010) AND a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering (2001). He has 10 years plastics manufacturing experience and 2 + years of consulting experience where he began his career. His manufacturing experience is in injection molding supplying automotive and aerospace. He has held positions in engineering, assembly, manufacturing management and continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma tools and processes. His projects have addressed inventory control & reduction, increased production efficiencies, scrap reduction, maintenance PM introduction, quality and plant design / start-up in Mexico twice. The projects have accounted for several million of dollars in saving and bottom line performance.
Today he is the plant operation manager for 2 plants with P&L responsibility and leads the Continuous Improvement Group of engineers. Under his direction are 118 injection molding presses, 250 associates and 22 engineers.
He is located in the Piedmont of North Carolina. His geographic relocation interest is for family reason with the two areas being the Greater Charlotte, North Carolina area or the Cincinnati, Ohio area.
This candidate has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, an MBA in Accounting/Controllership and is a licensed CPA. In addition he is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
The candidate has 20 years combined experience in the roles of plant controller, division controller and business unit controller. He has extensive experience in cost accounting for manufacturing operations. His experience covers all facets including ABC System (activity based costing) and EVA (economic valued added models). He has also been responsible for treasury activities, and full financial statement reporting including in-depth analysis of performance. The operations have ranged in size from $30MM to $60MM in sales. He has a background in different accounting software and considers himself a power user of MicroSoft Excel.
