Are you a technical laboratory leader ready to take the next step in your career? Our client is looking for an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead a high-impact laboratory operation and play a key role in advancing masterbatch color and additive technologies.
This is more than a laboratory management role—you’ll have the opportunity to lead a team, drive innovation, improve processes, and directly influence new product development while partnering with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams.
What You’ll Do
- Lead laboratory operations, staff, equipment, safety, and quality programs.
- Develop and mentor laboratory personnel while driving continuous improvement.
- Support masterbatch color/additive formulation, testing, troubleshooting, and new product development.
- Analyze results and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize products and processes.
- Maintain laboratory procedures, documentation, calibration, and testing standards.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Laboratory management or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of masterbatch, color, additives, and polymer/plastics applications.
- Experience with laboratory testing, formulation, and technical troubleshooting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with color matching, spectrophotometry, or polymer compounding is a plus.
