Seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead advanced civil engineering projects from concept to completion. In this role, you will provide technical leadership to engineering teams, oversee heavy industrial designs, and serve as the primary liaison between project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering Leadership: Guide and mentor engineers and designers, ensuring adherence to technical standards and best practices.
- Project Management: Drive all civil aspects of projects, managing scopes, schedules, budgets, and lifecycle changes.
- Design & Quality Control: Oversee the preparation of drawings and specifications while ensuring strict compliance with technical codes and regulations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between civil teams, project managers, and external stakeholders.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Deliver periodic status reports and resource forecasts to executive management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- License: Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Experience: Progressive heavy industrial experience in sectors such as Metals & Minerals, Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, or Utilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley InRoads, StormCAD, and core principles like site grading, drainage, and utility planning.
- Soft Skills: Proven leadership capabilities coupled with excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Compensation Range: 108K-180K DOE
